Some Bayesian Fun

Bayesian meetings have a long tradition of “letting the hair down” at the end of the meeting, with home-made entertainment in a traditional “Cabaret.” Here’s a selection of such antics.

The Bayesian Songbook contains the lyrics of Bayesian songs that have been presented at the Cabarets over the years, as well as scripts of the skits that have been performed. You can find mp3’s of some of the songs here. Photos of several cabarets, featuring famous Bayesians in various states of dress (and some undress) can be found here and here.

In keeping with the times, portions of the most recent Cabarets have been posted on YouTube. You can search for them there. One example, regrettably of somewhat poor quality, can be found here. But you get the idea. Bayesians have a lot of fun!
